Grave of President Andrew Johnson

The marble shaft which markets the grave of Andrew Johnson (1808-1875), 17th President of the United States, was erected by the Johnson family in 1878. Located in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery, Greeneville, Tennessee, the monument symbolizes Johnson's devotion to constitutional principles.
